Station 53-1 Apparatus

 

Engine 53-1

Engine 53-1 is a 1994 Pierce Saber and seats 6 personnel. The Engine has a 750 tank and a 1250 GPM 2 stage waterous pump. There are 2 200 Ft. 1 ¾" cross lays and 1 200 Ft. 2" cross lay. There is a Blitz Fire nozzle on the rear of the truck attached to a 3" hose line. There is also a 2" hand line that comes off of the rear as well. There is 1000 feet of 5" hose line in the hose bed. The front bumper houses 150 Ft of 1 ½ hose line and has a front 5" inlet with 25 Ft. of hose. On top of the truck is a deck gun with an extenda gun neck. Engine 53-1 holds equipment for fire extinguishment and overhaul. Other equipment on the truck includes a Cutters Edge all purpose saw, Cutters Edge vent saw, 24' extension ladder, attic ladder, roof ladder, pike poles a 5000W generator, lighted rope, and misc. power tools and hand tools.

 

Squad 53

Squad 53 is a 1984 Ford and holds 9 personnel. It is used for fire support and carries fire support equipment on it. Some of the equipment included on this apparatus are axes, pike poles, additional hand tools, as well as fire extinguishers, sub-pumps, first aid, traffic control equimpment and much more.
