Our Station has 911 Street signs available. Stop by the hall monday night at 6:30 with a copy of your address if interested. They help illuminate your address from the street and make it easier for us to find your house.
Current Events
The Hyde Park VFC and West Leechburg VFD are conducting a survey in their communities in conjunction with California University of PA. CAL U will be developing software with all of the information collected to help Hyde Park and West Leechburg better serve their communities in the event of an emergency.
Information given in these surveys include hazardus materials, special needs, number of people/pets living in the house, etc. This information will only be used by Hyde Park VFC and West Leechburg VFD in the event of an emergency, and will never be given out to anyone else.
If you are a resident of Hyde Park or West Leechburg, and you have not recieved a survey form, please call Hyde Park VFC at 724-845-6000 on Monday nights after 6:30 or email hpvfc53@yahoo.com. If you are a resident of West Leechburg, and you have not recieved a survey form, please call Chief Ron Vogel 724-845-7447.

Essentials to Fire Fighting class has begun. The instructors for this class have been doing a fantastic job! Thank you to Scott Held and Bryan Baum, both from Vandergrift Sta. 51! Module 1 will wrap up in Mid March, Module 2 has a tentative schedule as of now, followed by a break to take Pump 1 and Pump 2 in late spring/early summer. If you are interested in these classes please send us an email and we will be glad to give you some information!
